Singapore Gulf Bank (SGB), a Bahrain-regulated digital bank, has expanded its global payment capabilities by establishing a correspondent banking relationship with J.P. Morgan. This collaboration grants SGB direct access to J.P. Morgan’s USD clearing network, enhancing cross-border payment services for clients across the Middle East, Asia, and global markets.

The bank’s adoption of J.P. Morgan’s Wire 365 solution marks a significant milestone, enabling uninterrupted USD clearing 365 days a year. This eliminates traditional banking cut-offs and facilitates NEAR real-time settlements, even on weekends and holidays. SGB’s clients now benefit from greater liquidity management flexibility and seamless payment processing.

The partnership underscores the growing institutional demand for always-on settlement infrastructure, reflecting broader trends in digital banking and financial innovation.
